Bucha Film
Ukraine: Freedom Fighters, Leadership & Humanitarians
Cindy Farkas Glanzrock hosted this event at the JCC with 200 guests for a sold-out screening of the film Bucha
and a fundraiser for Ukraine.
BUCHA Film Trailer
The film tells about the rescue of local residents by Konstantin Gudauskas.

When the Russian invasion began, Konstantin was allowed to cross into the territory occupied by Russian troops because of his Kazakh passport. Once there, he was able to extract Ukrainian civilians out of the occupied territory into safety. He not only saved people, but also became an eyewitness to all the horrors of war and occupation.
Cindy Farkas Glanzrock hosted and moderated the Q&A panel discussion with the filmmaker Oleksandr Shchur and artist Roksana Petruk at a private screening of the film at the JCC theater in NYC on September 24, 2024
